Advanced Style Is Coming To Europe

I have been invited by Selfridges to take Advanced Style photos in London! The photos will be displayed in a concept store, “The Forever Shop” along with products selected by Selfridges Creative Director, Alannah Weston, ElleDecoration Editor-In-Chief, Michelle Ogundehin and legendary British Designer, Sir Paul Smith. Each will make a selection of timeless items, future heirlooms and collectables to be sold side by side in the Concept Store for the first time. Click on the photo above to enlarge. I will be in going throughout Europe the rest of July snapping away and looking for some great examples of Advanced Style!

    Hi Ari!

This is FABULOUS! Congratulations. I can't wait to see more incredible style.

I have to believe that this is another example of "do what you love ( the money will follow)". Thank you for your artistry and kindness.

    Best, J.

  • Bravo.

These posts of yours are quite unique in their subject matter, and your appreciation of these folks with inate style that transcends any decade we could name or count.

    Bravo also to Selfridges!

  • That's wonderful Ari! I wonder if you will find the European versions of Debra, Mary Ann, Jean, or Ilona? I'm looking forward to seeing the photos!

Well done Ari. I do hope you will explore London outside of the self-selecting clientelle of Selfridges. You will find the visitors to the Victoria and ALbert Museum (not that far away) likely to be of more eclectic interest. And of course, your street photography skills will make this so much more rewarding.

Wouldn't it be fun to take Debra along with you? I'd love to meet up should we be in London at the same time.

I look forward to some more of your inspiring interviews and photographs.

  • Ari, this is so exciting! What a terrific opportunity and venue for your work.

  • ARI the time has finally come…you will knock them "alive" in London and the rest of Europe!
We will miss you here in the BIG APPLE

Ari Seth, congratulations indeed, that's terrific. I'm a first time commenter here and take the opportunity to thank you (and your colleagues Maayan and Debra) for your work, which inspires, definitely, but is also moving, uplifting and very real to me. I love the focus on the artistic and the personal, rather than the purely fashionable. An extraordinary blog, to which I've become attached immediately. Merci once more and have a wonderful time in London. Hope you'll be posting some of your shots here!

  • That is brilliant. I will try and pop along and say hello. Xxxx
