Suzie sent us these wonderful pictures of her stylish uncles. She writes, ” Greetings from over the pond. I may be biased, but I find my twin uncles Edward and Andrew delightful in their trademark permutations on the jacket –patterned jersey – smart trousers theme. They were pretty neat dressers as children too, as the Second World War photo of them, plus teddy bears and RAF brother shows.”
My friend Michaela and I met artist, Jaqueline Fogel and her friend outside MoMA this afternoon. She showed us her Halloween pictures and chatted a minute before we entered the museum. Stay tuned for pictures of Michaela’s beautiful grandmother.

One of the things that I love about advanced style is the fact that older people can be unaware that they are actually really hip. It’s this lack of self consciousness, this accidental stylishness that is often so appealing. Obviously much of this due to the fact that fashion and accessories style is often times recycled from vintage designs. Where young can over do it with their hipster styles(myself included), these looks are worn with cool confidence, by their original wearers. When I complimented this lady on her sunglasses she replied, “They are not fancy or expensive, in fact they are old.”
