Its raining in New York today. I am going to meet my friend Jenny for some tea and take some photos of her for Vogue Japan . In the mean time, enjoy these photos of Lynn Dell right before her 78th birthday this month. I promise to get some great new material soon and please email me at Advancedstyleinfo@gmail.com, I love to hear from you!
You might be wondering where all the new street style photos are, well they are buried in SNOW. In the mean time I met up with Debra Rapoport, Tziporah Salamon, and Ilona Smithkin to discuss some questions from readers on aging and style. We had a great time sharing with one another. I hope you enjoy bits of wisdom from these stylish ladies.

Here is the latest installment of Advanced Style Videos by the wonderful videographer Lina Plioplyte.

I saw this guy waiting for a Taxi in front of The Plaza hotel and I asked him if I could take his photo. He told me that I had taken his photo once up near Madison and that he would pose for a second before his taxi arrived. He looked quite smart in his beige trench and rain boots. Check out some other cold weather options below.
The other day when posting about Jean, of the “Idiosyncratic Fashionionstas”, I mentioned a super cool secret project that I was working on. Vogue Japan has invited me to do an Advanced Style jewelry series for them. My first slide show is up now on Vogue.co.jp under jewelry or CLICK HERE for the direct link . Make sure you look through all six photos and enjoy some pictures from the shoot above. I will be doing two more jewelry series, so if you have any suggestions of who I can photograph feel free to send photos to Advancedstyleinfo@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you either way.
